Terms of Service

The service

JackOfAllPosts schedules and publishes content to social platforms on your behalf, and generates captions and images with AI when you ask it to. You need an account, and you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Your content stays yours

You keep all rights to what you upload and write. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store your content, process it, and publish it to the accounts you have connected. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for having the right to post what you post, and for it complying with the rules of each platform you send it to. Those platforms have their own terms and their own enforcement, and we cannot override either.

AI-generated content

Captions and images produced by the AI are generated on request and are yours to use. They are also machine output: they can be wrong, generic, or unintentionally similar to something else. Read before you publish. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, original, or fit for any particular purpose, and you remain responsible for what goes out under your name.

What you may not do

• Break the law, or the terms of a platform you have connected.
• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or infringes someone's rights.
• Send spam, or automate posting at a volume designed to evade a platform's limits.
• Share your account, resell access, or use another customer's data.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Plans, payment and cancellation

Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time and keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not refund part-periods unless the law where you live says otherwise.

If a payment fails we will retry it, and if it keeps failing your account moves to the free plan. The brands you already have keep working — we will not delete your data over a billing problem — but you will not be able to add more until it is resolved.

Plan limits (brands, connected accounts, seats, AI generations, storage) are shown on the pricing page and enforced in the product. We will give notice before increasing a price for an existing subscription.

Availability

We work hard to publish your posts on time and to tell you truthfully when we could not. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service: platforms go down, revoke tokens and change their APIs without warning, and some failures are outside our control. The product is designed to report a failed publish rather than hide it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost audience. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time, from Billing → Delete account. We may end the agreement if you breach these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason, in which case we will refund any period you have paid for and not used.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; if a change materially affects you we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
